Health Care: Senate Sleep Over
There has been debate after debate, for health care, against health care, for health care, against health care, blah blah blah blah blah. First of all, I think there is one thing we can all agree upon: it would be totally awesome if everyone could get health care. The senate however, has deliberately taken an unpopular path to that goal and gone against public opinion and decided “oh, everyone will like our bill it eventually”.
I believe social health care can be a good thing, but not by giving the insurance companies more money! I mean, at what point are the Democrats in the senate going to wake up and realize they were elected to make decision for the people in America based on what those people think is best. Instead however, they have decided that the 60 of them know more than the millions of us; this is disturbing.
In politics, people make deals all the time, but now, it’s definitely in the spotlight more because of the health care bill. I mean, who buys their state indefinite health care coverage just to be difficult? I mean, did he ask the Nebraskans? Some people don’t think so.
I personally think that we need corruption to be rooted of the government before we hastily create a health care bill that gives millions more to the insurance companies in reimbursements. This gives more power to the companies. Is that really wise?
